Alpha Tau Zeta Scholarships
 

The Townshend Alumni Association sponsors 4 scholarship programs for active members of the Ohio State Townshend Chapter. Students must maintain a cumulative point hour ratio of a 3.0 to be eligible. Even though all scholarships are administered through the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, members need not to be enrolled in the College or the School of Environmental and Natural Resources to be eligible.

$10,000 worth of scholarship money were awarded to active members for the 2004-2005 school year!

ATZ - ATI Housing Scholarship
ATZ is offering a scholarship of free room & board for the 1st quarter to a male ATI student who will be transferring to the Columbus campus autumn quarter 2006 (and every autumn quarter). The recipient will be chosen based on Scholarship, Fellowship, Character, and Service - as explained in this application. Applicant must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Applicant must submit one character reference letter with the application. The applicant must visit the ATZ chapter for a full weekend to start the evaluation for the scholarship.

The Donald E. & Martha L. Fogg Alpha Tau Zeta Scholarship Fund
Income provides scholarships for sophomore, junior or senior students enrolled in the College of Food , Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who are members of the Alpha Tau Zeta Fraternity. The student(s) must hold at least a 3.0 GPA. Any recipient(s) must be living in the Alpha Tau Zeta fraternity house at the time of receipt of the scholarship and, in addition, must have been living there the past two quarters or semesters (if applicable) while enrolled in The Ohio State University.

Claude Hummel Scholarship (Freshman/Sophomore Award)
Supports a member of Alpha Tau Zeta Fraternity with greater than a 3.00 GPA and active participation in the fraternity and other clubs.

Claude Hummel Scholarship (Junior/Senior Award)
Supports a member of Alpha Tau Zeta Fraternity with greater than a 3.00 GPA and active participation in the fraternity and other clubs.

John H. Leonard Scholarship
Annual scholarship fund supporting active members of Alpha Tau Zeta Fraternity based on scholarship, contribution to co-curricular activities, financial need and being a positive role model for others.

Ralph “Dutch” E. Schramm Scholarship Fund in Animal Science
Income supports junior/senior students in animal science who are 1) members of ATZ fraternity with beef or sheep interests, 2) students studying abroad or completing an international internship in Australia with the beef industry preferred, and 3) students who have participated in the Little “I” in the beef division.
