Endowed funds are established at The Ohio
State University for a variety of reasons: to provide scholarships, to
honor distinguished careers, to memorialize loved ones or simply to thank
the University. In most cases, the donor’s motivation for establishing
or contributing to an endowment fund is a desire to permanently enhance
the University and its programs. Individuals, corporations or organizations
who establish or contribute to such funds obviously have an interest
in the management of the University Endowment.
Scholarship, fellowship, character, and service will last in the minds
and hearts of Townshend alumni for years to come. You can help ensure
that these four founding principles will continue to grow for many
future brothers to enjoy. The Townshend ATZ Endowment
Fund has been providing
numerous scholarships for student members since 1994. In addition, the
Donald E. and Martha L. Fogg Alpha Tau Zeta Scholarship
Fund and the Ralph
E. “Dutch” Schramm Scholarship Fund in Animal Science respectfully
established in 2003 and 2001 have supplemented resources for our students
to pursue their dreams at Ohio State.
